Care Guide
Most of what shortens a garment's life happens in the wash. A few habits keep our pieces looking new for years.
By fabric
- Satin — cold delicate wash at 30°C, never tumble dry, cool iron on the reverse. Hang to dry away from direct sun.
- Rib knit — wash inside out at 30°C, reshape while damp and dry flat. Never hang a wet knit: the weight stretches the shoulders.
- Twill and tailoring — machine wash at 30°C, hang to dry, warm iron. Press the seams, not the surface.
- Wool-blend outerwear — dry clean only. Brush along the grain between wears and air it overnight rather than washing.
- Jersey — wash at 30°C, dry flat, no tumble dry.
General rules
- Wash less. Airing removes most odour; spot-clean marks instead of a full cycle.
- Close zips and fasten hooks before washing so they do not catch.
- Skip fabric softener on knits and jersey — it coats the fibres and dulls the surface.
- Store knits folded, tailoring on a wide hanger.
Each product page lists the exact care instructions for that piece.
